DENVER (AP) -- A massive snowstorm has prompted winter storm warnings across western Colorado and a blizzard warning in the southwestern corner of the state.

Up to 20 inches of snow are predicted overnight, along with winds that could cause whiteout conditions. Gusts could reach 80 miles per hour.

A weather forecaster in Grand Junction says "it's going to be heck of a storm."
